National Cancer Information Center
The National Cancer Knowledge and Information Center (NCCKI) has been providing cancer-related information services since June 2005. It offers up-to-date, evidence-based cancer information to the general public, cancer patients, and their families to help reduce anxiety and uncertainty about cancer, and to support informed health decisions.
NCCKI operates an official website (www.cancer.go.kr), creates content for various social network services (SNS), monitors misinformation or disinformation related to cancer, promotes accurate cancer information, and maintains a continually updated database covering 100 types of cancer.
The website offers a wide range of resources, including general cancer information, frequently asked questions (FAQs), national cancer statistics, educational materials, and dedicated cancer-related vocabulary services. It is designed to ensure that user can easily and conveniently access the information they need.
In addition, NCCKI produces and distributes brochures and leaflets for older adults with limited access to online services, as well as multilingual material for individuals with visual impairments and those from multicultural backgrounds.
By consistently providing reliable, scientifically grounded information, NCCKI empowers the public to better understand and respond to cancer.
